Charmie Galaiya is a luxury Indian bridal couture house working out of a Mumbai atelier. Every bridal lehenga, lehenga choli and gown in these collections is hand-embroidered — aari, zardozi, dabka, cutdana, seed pearl and crystal — over pure organza, silk organza and soft net grounds, and every one is made to order rather than pulled off a rail.
The catalogue spans the full bridal wardrobe: classic red and scarlet bridal lehengas for the wedding day, pastel and ivory sets for morning and Christian ceremonies, sage, emerald and dusty-blue pieces for sangeet and mehendi, fishcut silhouettes and fluid evening gowns for the reception, and lighter, breezier sets built for destination and resort weddings. Prices run from about ₹1,64,000 to ₹2,47,000.
